Join leading fibre artist Kate Campbell-Pope to embellish a recycled blanket with plant life imagery using stitching in this workshop inspired by Nalda Searles and her exhibition Finders Keepers. This workshop is suitable for all levels of stitching ability.
Kate Campbell-Pope works with natural fibre and textiles, using both constructional and decorative stitch, adapted basketry techniques and random weaving. Kate has exhibited extensively in exhibitions locally, nationally, and internationally in Chile and Japan.
This workshop is held nearby at Mundaring Adult Creative & Learning Centre with an opportunity to visit the exhibition during a lunch break.
