Head out to the Mahogany Creek Car Graveyard with Tales from the Bush artist John Eden for a unique workshop on drawing with found materials. Starting at the arts centre for a tour of the exhibition we’ll then explore the car graveyard and surrounding bush, sketching the discarded vehicles with found charcoal and paint made on site.
John Eden is an artist and educator living and working in the Perth Hills. John’s work moves in phases between portraiture, still life, abstraction and landscape. In the last couple of years, he has explored the local landscape on his mountain bike looking for adventure and new landscapes to depict.
