Join internationally renowned costumier, Susie Vickery as she talks about her exhibition Peregrinations of a Citizen Botanist, the inspiration behind the project and her broader arts practice.
Susie will present an illustrated lecture at the Mundaring Lesser Hall before inviting guests to wander down the road to Mundaring Arts Centre to explore the exhibition.
For Peregrinations of a Citizen Botanist Vickery has worked with a range of collaborators including installation artist Nathan Crotty, natural dye and print artists Holly Story and Penny Jewell, Milliner Susi Rigg as well as Langford Aboriginal Association’s Yarning and Sewing Group. Susie Vickery has worked for over two decades as a costumier for theatre in Australia and the UK.
