Internationally acknowledged artist and Western Australian Living Treasure Nalda Searles will share her string theory with all comers. Nalda has made string, woven, threaded and stitched complex objects in deserts, forests, in galleries and around campfires.
Her workshop will show you how to make a piece of string using old cotton or rayon textiles. Bring along an old sarong or piece of cloth that is past its original purpose, but still has some life left in it and you’ll be pumping out string in an hour.
