Worn Out Worn Art Wearable Art Workshop with Mary-Louise Carbone

  • Midland Junction Arts Centre 276 Great Eastern Highway Midland, WA, 6056 Australia (map)

Join Mary-Louise and create a stunning wearable art costume out of recycled materials, cane and cellophane at the Midland Junction Arts Centre.

Each year the Mundaring Arts Centre coordinates an annual Worn Out Worn Art wearable art project to invite young people to create amazing ‘sculptures for the body’.

In the July school holidays, Mary-Louise worked with students to create ‘Mad Hats’. These Mad Hatters are welcomed back to create “just the costume to match!”

All participants are then invited to parade their creative constructions in the Worn Out Worn Art - Wearable Art Parade at the Darlington Arts Festival in November.

With the support of Act-Belong-Commit and the City of Swan, these workshops are offered free to people aged 7 -18 years.
