The next stage of the Machines & Makers opened over the weekend and congrats to the team at Mundaring and Hills Historical Society inc. for 'A Stitch in Time' at the Mundaring District Museum. This historical exhibition looks at the machines, the shops, the tools, the patterns and the garments painstakingly made by 'the makers'. Maker Lyn Woldendorp, who has a few of her stunning jackets on display, shared her memories of creating the garments with us, followed by historian Cr Lynn Fisher who officially opened the exhibition to an appreciative audience. 'A Stitch in Time' will be open Mon-Sat 9.30am-4pm and Sun 10-2.30pm until 29 November.
