The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre will be participating in Habits of Horses with a large story and poetry display at the Centre featuring horse-themed works from members - fiction and non-fiction - in the shape of a horse.
The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre is calling for submissions for the community stories project.
Eligibility: KSP members, residents of the Shire of Mundaring, and students from a Shire of Mundaring-based school are invited to contribute.
To be included in KSP's Story Horse display, please email your submission as an attachment to kspf@iinet.net.au (subject line: Story Horse project) before 21 July 2017, using the guidelines below.
Include your full name and genre of work in the email
If you are under 18, please also indicate your age
Ensure submitted work is polished and features an engaging story about horses or a particular horse, ideally located in the local Perth hills area of Western Australia
One submission per person
You have the option to also include no more than two images that relate to your story/poem, attached as .JPG or PNG files and labelled with appropriate description
Attach your submission in .DOC or .DOCX format only
No more than 800 words for prose or one page for poetry
Arial 12 point font, 1.5 spacing
The Story Horse display will feature at KSP Writers' Centre from 11 August to 10 September 2017.
