The Food for Thought cookbook celebrates the collective work of the artists, organisations, makers and thinkers who shared their artistic skills and food stories, working together to unpack and document the pleasures, cultural traditions and concerns linked to food.
Throughout the Food for Thought project, participants created and discussed vessels — not only the integral part they play in food preparation and presentation but also how we ourselves are vessels, carrying our food traditions, connections, and poignant memories.
Interwoven throughout this publication is a smorgasbord of art, culture and food journeys with images and information about the Food for Thought workshops and coloured text boxes sharing the written work created at the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre.
