MAC celebrates the festive season with a cornucopia of contemporary craft secreted in 50 identical wooden boxes. This covert exhibition happens before the display in a twist of fate where buyers can purchase a secret artwork, sight unseen, and will only know who's artwork they have at the Opening of the Boxes on 11 November. There are only 50 covetable works of art, contributed by an impressive list of WA artists, to be ‘auctioned’ off to the first fifty buyers.

Anthony Muia

Stepping Stones explores the power art has to expand and liberate us. Spilling into sculpture, audio and installation, the exhibition sees exposure to art as a form of self-help culture, utilising the gallery as a place of relaxation and contemplation. Through his multi-media work and ancient yogic meditation, Muia encourages us to slow down, be mindful and engage with art.
