The Shire of Mundaring, Mundaring Camera Club and Mundaring Arts Centre have worked in partnership since 2017 to present an annual photography exhibition. This year, Cultivate welcomes entrants to create new photographic works that respond to the notion of cultivation, encompassing Ideas, Place and Flora.

The natural environment is shaped and altered with our ever-changing desire to use what has been provided by the earth. Entrants are invited to investigate key messages related to their area of interest - suggested subject matter could depict environmental protection; First Nations culture; adaptations of the land; the cultivation of plant species and our relationships with place and people.

Residents of the Shire of Mundaring or City of Swan, or members of Mundaring Camera Club and/or Mundaring Arts Centre are invited to submit up to 4 photographs for selection for exhibition, to be displayed at the Boya Community Centre, and be in the running to win fantastic prizes.

Up to 32 photographs will be selected for exhibition. Selected photographs will be printed from the jpeg supplied on quality photographic paper and displayed in temporary exhibition frames for the public to enjoy and / or purchase.
