Artist in Focus | Andrea Wood
Andrea Wood transforms the Gallery 2 space with installations of works in ink on paper including artist’s books containing drawings and poetry. Drawing on the writing of the late Elizabeth Jolley, Wood’s individual and collective works reflect her own experience as an artist living in the Hills environment, as well as an artist in residence in the Zoology Department at the University of Western Australia. This installation synthesises her experiences as an artist doing doctoral research with aspects of ordinary daily life.
