Artist in Focus | Betty McKeough
Showcasing a diversity of materials and sculptural techniques Betty will transform a collection of raw materials into new jewellery forms. Working with kiln fired vitreous enamels, fold-formed and anodised metals, fabrics, rubber and resin-set objects Betty’s approach will provide a visually engaging residency with much appeal to the public. Betty will conduct artist talks and demonstrations as part of her residency whilst exhibiting artists from the Main Gallery will conduct hands-on workshops with the public to reveal the endless possibilities of merging the mediums, textiles, jewellery and sculptural forms.
