Online Gallery | Print Council of Australia 2017 Print Commission
Each year Print Council of Australia (PCA) commissions 10 artists from an open call for submissions to create an edition of prints. Two independent arts professionals judge the entries and select 10 final prints to be commissioned. The selected artists produce a limited edition of between 30-40 prints in their chosen medium. ABOUT PCA
Established in 1967, the Print Council of Australia is a national non-profit organisation that promotes contemporary fine art printmaking, including artist books, zines and works on paper. It provides support and advocacy for artists and, through publications, commissioned editions, exhibitions and other events, PCA works to foster a greater appreciation of original prints and knowledge of the history of Australian printmaking amongst the wider community.
