ARTS RETAIL OFFICER

Those in the arts recognise the importance of a successful gallery shop, and the essential role it plays in public engagement, income generation and as a showcase for local artists and the organisation.

MAC Inc. is looking for the right person who will make the MAC Inc. retail spaces inviting places for visitors - a prestige retail outlet for artists, designers and craftspeople to sell their works that enhances and extends the gallery experience.

This role in service, sales, artwork selection, display and inventory provides the opportunity to work amongst what you love 

Under the direction of the Retail Manager, you will provide outstanding customer service to artists and patrons. You will be the face of the Arts Centre and often the welcoming first point of contact to provide visitor information.

The right person will professionally and efficiently liaise with artists and other stakeholders, they will be able to think on their feet and adapt to a wide range of situations. They are responsible for collectively ensuring that the venue is well presented and accessible, easy to navigate, comfortable, and inspiring.
